Stunt Dudes in Portland

August 27, 2008

The Stunt Dudes made the 17 hour drive from San Diego, CA  to Porland, OR with five guys, a full ramp setup, and five bikes all in a pick-up truck. We got to be part of the big LivinIt event called Portland CityFest. With riders like Jon Greer,  John Andrus, Mike Montgomery and Vic Murphy, you know the show was something to watch. This may have been one of the best Stunt Dude shows ever!

Vic Murphy, John Andrus, Joey Hill and Mike Montgomery did demos all over the country ripping it up and letting everyone know Jesus RULES!  Jud Heald from  Untitled Skateboards  came along with his team and together we built the first skatepark in Jamaica! We left it in the good hands of Stephen King, a local skate Missionary from Philadelphia. The school system in Jamaica let us come in and do tricks for the kids and share how God has radically changed our lives, so we stayed busy going to dozens of schools  including the famous Trench Town where Bob Marley grew up! Tens of thousands of people heard about Jesus after all was done!  Whats up to all our Jamaican BMX and skate bros!! Hope to see ya soon!

LivinIt in Cairo, Egypt!

November 4, 2007

The StuntDudes Vic Murphy and John Andrus met up with Untitled Skateboards for a  festival in Egypt hosted by the Luis Palau Association! Jud Heald and John Andrus built the first ever skatepark in Egypt, did demos on the ramps, and then left the ramps for the local church. The entire action sports event was broadcast by satellite all over the middle east! Thousands reported giving their lives to Jesus after the festival! It was a huge breakthrough in the Middle-East that is in constant struggle with racism and Truth!

Our very own stuntster John Andrus got the opportunity to use his bike to draw people to Jesus in South Africa. He did a BMX demo and gave his testimony at a youth camp. He also did bike shows in small villages to draw children to a kids crusade and did a demonstration for an orphanage for kids who were affected by aids.
